Post office

We met Paulina, Sasha, and Tim for coffee at the restaurant above the grocery store. We looked at the Novosibirsk postcards that the gymnasium students had given us. We also showed them the "free" postcards we had picked up at the coffee shop. These are advertisements but are quite interesting. Though we had figured out what most were about, they explained the details and set us straight on a couple of our "interpretations." They agreed to help us find some maps and Akademgorodok post cards. Bob opted for another cup of coffee while the rest of us went on our errand.

We found a National Geographic map in Russian and a map/calendar of Akademgorodok. Having purchased local postcards, we picked up Bob and went to the post office.

It's a gray day but the umbrellas brighten the landscape.
