Russian art in Minneapolis

These trees and shrubs are still bent after the snow we had two days ago.

It was a very quiet day here. We went to the Trade Center for dinner at the East-West Restaurant above the grocery store. A math student from the university helped us with some menu translations and then joined us for dinner. This summer she had spent a month in Boston with her brother who lives there and was happy to have some English practice. After dinner she accompanied us while we shopped for hats and scarves. Perfectly delightful evening.

The Museum of Russian Art is in south Minneapolis. We had talked about visiting it before this trip but it remains on our "to do" list. It will be at the top of our list for a visit when we return. Looks pretty interesting.

I've been meaning to visit there ever since it opened. Please add me to your tour group when you have a date set up, if you will! ;-)
